Finally, Matt and Katie Bach will be able to share their house hunting experience with the world. The Grand Blanc couple were part of the popular HGTV show "House Hunters" and have been anxiously waiting for their episode to air.

It looks like we will be able to catch the Bachs on HGTV June 11th at 10:00p.m. and then June 12th at 1:00a.m. according to the network.  The episode dubbed, 'Investing in Flint', is being promoted as, "A couple loves the city of Flint, Michigan, and are eager to find a new home there. He wants an older, historic home downtown, while she prefers a ranch-style house and doesn't mind renovations and spending more money to get what she wants."

Filming took place back in the fall after the couple applied to the show and were accepted. The HGTV crew traveled town to film the couple along with their agent, local Re/Max Edge realtor Jonathan Schlinker,  in their quest to find the perfect home.

In an earlier interview, Schlinker said that the couple has always loved Flint and was excited about moving back into the city and being part of all the fabulous revitalization going on.

The show chronicles home buyers searching for a new place to hang their hat, showcasing 3 homes and then finally deciding on one. For their episode, the Bachs are leaving a newer home in the Grand Blanc area to settle into that perfect place to call home in the city.

The HGTV crew really enjoyed their filming time in Mid-Michigan according to Schlinker. "There's been so much negativity with our city in the news and a nationally it's great to see something positive and have a chance to show people what Flint is really about", he told us. "I can't wait for the world to get a inside glimpse of Flint real estate".

This episode will mark the first time in HGTV’s “House Hunters” 20-year history that the popular reality TV show was filmed in Flint.
