Beyonce Says “I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss” In A New ‘Ban Bossy’ Campaign [Video]

Beyonce teamed up with some pretty heavy hitters to ban the word 'Bossy" when it comes to an assertive woman.

Condoleezza Rice, Jane Lynch and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg are just a few of the women featured in the new #BanBossy campaign.  Any parent of a young girl should already be pushing this message, but a little star power never hurt either.

The Lifetime PSA encourages girls to "Take the lead," "be ambitious," "listen to your own voice" and dare to be themselves.

In the video, Beyonce says: “By middle school, girls are less interested in leadership than boys. I'm not bossy. I'm the boss.”

If you have a daughter, make sure you are doing you part to reinforce that they can do anything they want in life.
