The Detroit native raised the money through his foundation for the people of Flint.

Big Sean is getting ready to release his album 'I Decided' and sat down with Trevor Noah from The Daily Show to talk about not only his new album, but also that he raised some big money for the city of Flint.

“I just know it’s not even close to being over. In that situation, I feel like, it’s not a natural disaster. It’s something that should’ve been prevented and could’ve been prevented, so it’s just disgusting to think about the damages that these families and even kids have to go through with the lead poisoning.” - Big Sean

Sean also stated that his own mother dealt with lead poisoning due to the contaminated water.

“It was very hard for her to deal with, but she was able, through holistic care and homeopathic remedies, was able to reverse a lot of the effects of lead poisoning,”  - Big Sean

Sean also revealed that there's a little bit of Flint in his new album as the Flint Chosen Choir will be featured on the last track on the album titled 'Bigger Than Me'

Big Sean's fourth studio album 'I Decided' will be available February 3rd.
