Scum Beatz, the man who produced Blueface's breakout song, "Thotiana," has, with the ascendant single, taken the Billboard charts and the Internet by storm. Now, the producer says the sequel to the Blueface track is on the way.

Chatting with XXL about his future plans and his work habits with the Cash Money West rapper, Scum lets loose the news. "Me and [Blueface] haven't really sat down and cooked something up together besides the 'Thotiana Part 2' beat," he explains, announcing the existence of a "Thotiana" sequel.

Scum Beatz says the new version will feature the same beat as the original—but with an added musical twist. "It's gonna be the same beat, different drum pattern," Scum Beatz reveals. "And I added a couple of other sounds."

Scum Beatz didn't confirm the drop date, but says "Thotiana Part 2" is coming soon.

Earlier this month, "Thotiana," which appeared on the rapper's 2018 project, Famous Cryp, became Blueface's first Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit after it elevated from the No. 13 slot to No. 9. Since its release, Blueface's "Thotiana" has spawned a handful of "Thotiana" remixes featuring Cardi B, YG, Nicki Minaj, Desiigner, Young M.A and more.

With a top 10 single so early on in his career, Blueface appears to be headed for even bigger and better things. Speaking with XXL for The Break this past January, Blueface explained why he was destined for greatness.

"It's really just me, my brain power, my promotion and marketing," Blue said of the reason he believed he could make big moves. "My music is not like everybody gonna love it, it's really what I make of it. I was going to schools—I wasn't booked to do that. I was just going to get the viral footage. I was 100 percent independent, driving my car, doing everything by myself."
