Clay Is Celebrating Real Men Wear Pink Day
I'm proud to represent the Real Men Wear Pink campaign this year and I hope you'll help me make an impact on the fight against Breast Cancer.
Today is Real Men Wear Pink day and it's the perfect opportunity for you to join in on the fight. Obviously the fight is bigger than just one day, but today is a chance for you to jump in by donating $10, and then encouraging 10 of your friends to do the same . . . see what's going on here? Today is 10/10.
Cancer is something that has touched pretty much all of us, whether it be through a friend, family member, loved one, or even fighting the battle yourself. The thought of going through a fight with cancer can be overwhelming, not to mention scary as hell!
That's why I am so passionate about what the ACS does to help people fight. The money raised helps with treatments, research, and a ton of other important needs. The thing that rarely gets talked about though is the support that the money helps to fund. The 24/7 help line that patients can call anytime for advice, information or just to talk. The free rides to treatment that patients can get if they are not able to make it to a treatment.
I'll be doing a bunch of fundraising events throughout the entire month of October, but nothing is easier than the effort on Real Men Wear Pink Day. Just CLICK HERE TO DONATE $10. After you donate, you can share it on Facebook and challenge ten of your friends to do the same!
Don't forget to join me at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday in Downtown Flint at 8am.
After the walk I'll be in Fenton at the Fenton Youth Football Pink Out Games taking donations. I'll also have a four pack of Lions tickets for someone to win at the game!
On Saturday the 19th, I'll be at the Kroger gas station on Corunna and Dye helping to Pink Out The Pump for donations. You can find me there from 9a-2p.
Hopefully you'll be able to come out and support.
