The Convoy of Hope is bringing more than $1 Million in assistance to Flint this weekend for those in need.

The event will feature free groceries, haircuts, family portraits, and a kids zone. There will also be specialized services available free of charge like veteran services and job services. Anyone looking to receive a hot meal will also be able to take advantage of the Convoy of Hope event.

The event is happening at Basset Park in Flint (1300 Greenway Ave) starting at 10 am, and going until all of the supplies are gone.

With all of the resources and supplies that Convoy of Hope will be giving away, there is always a need for volunteers.

If you would like to help out at the event on Saturday, there is a volunteer rally happening Friday night at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene at 7 pm. You can get more details about volunteering on the Convoy of Hope website here.

For more information about the event, you can visit the Convoy of Hope website or the Facebook event page. If you have more questions you can call 810-235-5671.
