COVID Fishflies are (Not Really) Michigan’s Next Big Nightmare [VIDEO]

First, let's stipulate that this is just a joke. COVID Fishflies aren't a real thing. But with the way 2020 has gone so far, it's hard to imagine that anything is really off the table.

This is a parody video, created by 'Not So Pure Michigan', the folks who take a slightly twisted look at Michigan and the people who live here. A few months ago, John Kerfoot (the creative mind behind these Not So Pure Michigan videos) took a rather unique look at Michigan's response to COVID-19, quickly putting protestors in Lansing on blast. 

Again, with tongue planted firmly in cheek, the Not So Pure Michigan team has created a movie-trailer type video that predicts the next supposed apocalypse to strike Michigan:  COVID Fishflies.

"But now, quaint towns like St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe are no longer safe. Because the fishflies have been infected with the deadly COVID-19," the trailer states. "This summer, Michigan's worst nightmare comes true."
