Detroit Flooding Closes Many Major Roadways [Video]

 

Michigan State Police are urging drivers to stay off freeways in metro Detroit due to the flooding.

The National Weather Service says 4 inches of rain fell Monday in Detroit, causing major flooding and problems for residents.

Things got so bad yesterday that I-75 had to be shut down in both directions at I-94.  This morning many road closures are still in effect, and flood warnings will stay in effect until 8am on Tuesday.
