25 Jobs Paying Over $100,000 A Year In Michigan
Are you tired of busting your ass at work and still barely getting by? Are you living paycheck to paycheck? If so, you are not alone and if that is indeed the case, chances are your job is NOT one of Michigan's highest-paying jobs according to Zippia.
I am guessing that you know that already though. It really is unfortunate that so many important jobs just don't pay what they should. It is also unfortunate that a majority (if not all) of Michigan's high-paying occupations require a college degree.
To be honest, I don't even know what most of these high-paying jobs entail. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying people working these 25 jobs don't deserve to be well-compensated, I just don't know what the heck most of these job titles mean.
Spoiler alert, mechanics, teachers, electricians, and sanitation workers did not make the list. As you can imagine, people working in the medical profession did. My mom always wanted me to be a nurse, but I figured no one wanted a tequila drinking nurse, and I hate needles.
If this list motivates you to go back to school or even start taking classes, good for you. I don't think I have the drive to go to medical school at this point in my life, but if you do - go for it!
If you have a kid(s) in high school, it might not be a bad idea to share this list with them. Hey, you have provided for your kids, once they graduate - let them provide for you.
Maybe I should have had kids after all? Just kidding.
