The huge food company behind popular drinks like Kool-Aid has issued a recall on a few powered drinks right before Thanksgiving.

This might be the worst time ever to have a food recall on anything. I'm 100% sure that somebody has a packet of Kool-Aid already made and stored in their fridge. If so, check out the details below because you might accidentally consume some foreign objects.

Country Time, Tang, Kool-Aid and Arizona Tea drink mixes with dates between May 10, 2023, and Nov. 1, 2023; Country Time Lemonade with a date of Sept. 15, 2023; and Tang with a date of Aug. 20-21, 2023, were recalled because they could contain very small pieces of metal or glass from production.

The company advises anyone who bought any products under recall to return it or throw it away. Anyone can also call 1-855-713-9237 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday to see if the product is part of the recall and get reimbursement. Source:NBC25.com

They go on to say that the recall was done voluntarily after Kraft found out about the problem during a review of the factory where the powdered drinks are made. It seems like they've hopped on this problem pretty quick while also giving consumers an option for reimbursement.

Kool-Aid without a doubt is probably one of the most popular drinks on the planet, and this recall won't change how I feel about the brand. Just keep an eye on the date on which your product was made and then compare to the dates above.  That should be all you need to avoid consuming anything harmful.
