Darren Wilson gave his first public interview since shooting Michael Brown in Ferguson.  He stated his conscious was clean because he, "Did my job right."

While the streets of Ferguson, and many other cities across the country, were packed with protesters, Wilson showed little remorse.  He held steadfast to his story that he acted in self defense, and that he was merely doing his job.

Wilson said Brown reached into his car and grabbed his gun. He described how Brown charged toward him, and he felt that he had to shoot the teen.Wilson did say that he was sorry for the loss of life but he would not do anything different that day.

One of the more interesting parts of the interview came when George Stephanopoulos asked him if things would have went differently if Brown were a white man.  When asked if the outcome would be different, Wilson simply said, "No way."

I understand that Wilson has to stay with his story, but while people are rioting and protesting, maybe it just wasn't the time.  I would have respected his choice to speak publicly much more if he had taken a moment to try and diffuse the situation in his own city.

Do you think he made the right choice?
