Flint Community Schools Announce Two New Hiring Events
The Flint Community Schools have announced two big hiring events this month as they struggle to deal with the massive worker shortage.
Everyone knows that schools all over Michigan have been trying to sort through staffing issues. There have even been instances where schools have had to close for the day because they did not have enough staff available. That's what the Flint Community Schools are hoping to avoid with their new hiring events.
Obviously, teachers are in high demand right now, but school officials are looking for way more than just teachers.
There are two dates for the upcoming FCS job fair. They will happen on November 18thy, and November 30th with both events going from 3 pm to 7 pm. The hiring events will be held at the Southwestern cafeteria.

This has been an unbelievably difficult couple of years for anyone working in the education field. The pandemic and political fighting have made it so every day is a challenge.
I just want to say thank you to anyone working in education in any capacity right now. The days may feel long and without proper recognition, but you are doing the work that actually matters. . . thank you.
