Veterans will now have a new place to find help thanks to two men who are working on converting a Flint house into a home for wounded veterans.

Two men in Flint are doing their part to help veterans by transforming a house in the College Cultural area in Flint for those wounded while serving our country.

The home they are working on may be 90-years-old, but they are doing their part to make it economically friendly by using LED lights and making the house as draft-free as possible.

Consumers Energy and home improvement stores around Flint have been helpful with making the older house more cost efficient.

There are no plans to charge veterans until they become financially stable. The duo will also do their part to help provide counseling and help enroll veterans in U of M or Mott Community College.

If you would like to do your part to help those who have served our country, call  the Veterans Wounded Warrior Foundation at 248-215-1488.
