Flint Water Distribution Sites Announce Their Plans To Shut Down
The Genesee County Health Department has announced the timeline for ending water distribution in Flint stemming from the Flint Water Crisis.
The GCHD posted the information on their Facebook page today, and the closures are coming sooner than most people think.
Home water distribution will be ending in July. Only two distribution sites will remain open through August. By September all distribution sites will be permanently shut down.
This closure plan is reliant on the water testing in Flint, and the continued replacement of lead service lines.
This is very important information for the Flint residents that rely on the water distribution for safe drinking water.
Do you think the closures are coming too soon? Read the GCHD post below for the complete information.
