Flint's own Mark Ingram is making everyone back home proud with his latest accomplish in the NFL. Ingram was selected to play in his first Pro Bowl game. Congrats.

Ingram had a break out year for the New Orleans Saints rushing for 964 yards on 226 carries. The Southwestern High School alum ranked seventh in the NFL for yards per game and 14th in total rushing yards for the season.

According to MLive, Ingram responded to the news on his Twitter saying,

God is good!

The Pro Bowl will take place in Arizona on January 25th. Ingram is replacing Marshawn Lynch due to the Seattle Seahawks making it to the Super Bowl.

Ingram will seek his value in the free agent market this offseason after spending four season with the New Orleans Saints. The Hiesman Trophy winner should get the attention of a lot of teams seeking his services. We are proud of his accomplishments and hope that he stands out in the Pro Bowl game.
