Florida Man Arrested After Beating Child to Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’

It seems like Florida is full of crazy people especially when a man was arrested after beating a child to Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines.'  I don't think I will ever listen to the song the same again.

Steven Grady Fillingim, 40 years old, beat a child that was a relative with a 30 inch metal switch while playing 'Blurred Lines' by Paula Patten's husband.  The police report says that female relative was struck in the face and hands by the metal switch.  The arrest report detail other cruel punishments.

Fillingin physically punished this relative because she was skipping school and being lazy.  Well it seems as if the female was a teenage and probably needed some structure but using a 30 inch metal switch may have been excessive.

The Florida man even video tapped the beating and sent it to his girlfriend.  Police have confiscated the video and will use against this crazy Florida man.  I think this was excess but I want to hear from you.  What are your thoughts on this abusive incident?  Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
