Fresh Food Giveaway Happening In Saginaw Today

If you, or someone you know is in need of fresh food, there is a food giveaway happening in Saginaw today.

The event is being put on by the Word of Faith International Ministries in Saginaw. The distribution event happens at 500 N Washington in Saginaw, and starts at Noon. This is part of a community focused effort to help those who are in need because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Word of Faith posted about the event today on their Facebook page.

The organizers are asking that anyone coming to get food follow a few simple guidelines.

• Practice social distancing
• Stay in your car
• Wear a mask
• Open trunk and make sure there is space for the food to be placed

There are so many people that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic right now. Luckily we have so many great public organizations that are willing and able to help those of us in need right now.

Even though we are all going through an extremely difficult time right now, it's still heartwarming to see people come together to help others. We have had food distribution events in Flint and Saginaw put on by so many diverse groups in recent weeks.

The world seems like it is full of anger right now with everyone fighting over politics, and the best way to handle the pandemic. It's a welcome break to hear about people coming together to help other people in their time of need.
