Gallery: Your Michigan Official Absent Voter Ballot
Do you think we as a country have embraced casting ballots early & voting by mail?
The answer is ABSOLUTELY!
More than 22 million Americans have already cast ballots in the 2020 election and that represents 16% of all the votes cast in the 2016 presidential election, even as eight states are not yet reporting their totals and voters still have more than two weeks to cast ballots. (AP)
I thought for sure I had gone online and requested my absentee ballot several weeks ago. But I have been watching the box and nothing has been showing up except all the full color political mailers.
Registered voters can request an absentee ballot online via the absentee voter request form before October 30.
After Oct. 19, to avoid possible postal delays, we recommend making your request in person at your local city or township clerk office. You’ll be able to fill out and submit your ballot while there. (Michigan.gov/vote)
And a few days later it finally arrived.
Take a look at what might be headed to your mailbox if your requested an absentee ballot.
Please READ and follow the instructions.
Make sure you read everything. Mark you ballot using only a black or blue ink pen. Completely darken the ovals. Check the front and back of you ballot as well.
