After three extra days of Winter break due to the snow and cold temperatures, many Genesee county school decided that they would have classes today.  Many parents were less than thrilled with the choice, and have been very vocal on social media.

My son goes to Swartz Creek, and in a Facebook community for Creek parents their has not been much support for the decision to have class.

Some of the comments even talked about legal action in case of some sort of accident.

There were even parents suggesting that the schools scrap the week entirely, and start school again on Monday.

My personal opinion is that it's time for schools to open, and if any parents have strong disagreements with that, then they should keep their child home.

What do you think?  Were you upset that your child's school decided to have class today?
