Demetrius de Moors is a high school wrestler in Georgia who has worked his butt off to be the best, but when he faced off against Michael Lind in the biggest match of his life, he knew that winning was far from the most important thing.

Michael Lind is a student at a rival high school with Down Syndrome who has been on his schools wrestling team for years, but never actually wrestled in a match.

Lind would get his first chance in one of the states biggest wrestling tournaments, and when he stepped on to the mat, he was face to face with one of the best.  Demetrius could have mopped the floor with Lind, but that wasn't why he volunteered for the match.  Demetrius realized that in sports, and in life, winning is rarely the most important thing.

Demetrius did end up winning something though, he was awarded the 2012 National Sportsmanship Award.  He also continues to win the respect of everyone who takes the time to hear his amazing story.

Take 5 minutes to watch the story, and pack some tissue.  Salute to Demetrius and Michael for having the courage to do what you love, and the right thing at the same time.
