Georgia Teen Arrested For Allegedly Spending Over $25K From Bank Error

The idiot of the day goes to the Georgia teen who was arrested for allegedly spending over $25k from a bank error.  We've all had the dream of a large lump sum of money being magically deposited into our accounts.

Steven Fields, 18 years old, took advantage of a bank error of a deposit of $31k.  The misguided teen decided to take the money and spend it on a car, fast food, and various stores.  Big mistake.

After the bank tried to work things out with Fields, he informed them that he would not be able to pay them back anytime soon.  He turned himself into authorities on Friday and was charged with theft by taking.
