The Flint water crisis dominated the State of the State speech by Governor Rick Snyder last night, and he vowed to right the wrongs in Flint.

Snyder dedicated a lot of time to talk about the issues leading up to the water issues in Flint, and how the state planned to deal with them.  Snyder said,

I'm sorry most of all that I let you down, you deserve better. You deserve accountability. You deserve to know that the buck stops here with me. Most of all, you deserve to know the truth, and I have a responsibility to tell the truth

Snyder committed $28 Million in the short term to help with the water bottle, and water filter band-aid that has been used to address the problem so far.

Despite showing genuine regret when talking about the Flint Water Crisis, the sounds of protesters could be heard from outside of the building.

Nearly 100 people had gathered to call for Snyder to resign during his speech.  The crowd was very loud, but did not become violent at any time.
