There are so many factors that go into a lasting marriage, but it looks like two main things stand out when finding the length the marriage will last.

A new study finds that if it is your first marriage you have about a 50% chance of it lasting 20 years, but the age you get married at also plays a factor.

The survey also found that first-time teenage brides and grooms were less likely to reach the 20-year mark when compared with people who married when they were 20 or over.

'Ten years' seems to be much more manageable when it comes to marriage.

68% of women and 70% of men reached the ten-year anniversary.

The survey also showed the average age a woman first gets married is 26-years-old while for a man it is 28-years-old.
