Have an Art Van Card? Warranty? Here's What You Need to Know

The news that the company will be shutting down all of its stores has people asking questions.

Art Van Furniture announced yesterday that they will be closing all of their stores nationwide including Art Van PureSleep and Scott Shuptrine Interiors in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri. Wolf Furniture stores in Maryland and Virginia will be closed as well.

If you have Art Van products in your house (who doesn't at this point?), warranties will not be honored past the store closings. If you have a balance on your Art Van card, you are still obligated to pay it off.

There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on what will happen with pending orders; some people have been told that their orders have been canceled, others can't get in touch with customer service.

The company was purchased in 2017 by a private equity firm and Art Van Elslander passed away in 2018.
