Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond are both vying for starting spots in the 2019 NBA All-Star Game.

This might not sound like a big deal to everyone, but Pistons fans know that it's been a while since we've sent a starter. Allen Iverson was the last Piston to start in an NBA All-Star Game, and that was in 2009!

Most real Pistons fans don't even consider Iverson a Piston! He only played here for one year, and it was an ugly year for Detroit that couldn't have ended quick enough.

Andre Drummond has been an all-star reserve that last few years, but this is the year that he could break into the starting lineup. Blake should be a no brainer to start for the East this year. He is putting up career numbers this year, and has been the Pistons best player.

The Pistons have a couple other players that should be making appearances during All Star Weekend in Charlotte. Reggie Bullock has been having a break out year, and could be a participant in the 3-Point Shootout.
