We have learned that some people are asymptomatic and others have just built up an immunity to the coronavirus. This doesn't mean COVID-19 is gone but that scientists understand the virus more. That being said, is there something else we should be concerned with this cold season?

First, we must establish what a Tri-demic is. A Tri-demic is a combination of the flu, COVID-19 infections, and RSV cases hitting the state of Michigan all at once.

COVID-19 is still a thing and will continue to be a problem until everyone gets vaccinated. There are new variants out there that are stronger and people will get sick and some may die. The new COVID-19 vaccine has been upgraded to fight these new variants so get your shot.

Respiratory syncytial virus which is known as RSV, is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms but it can get very serious for infants and older adults who could wind up in the hospital or even a morgue if untreated. So if you qualify for the vaccine, it would be good to get that one too.

It is possible to get the flu, COVID, and RSV all at the same time and this is a deadly combination. Your best bet is to protect yourself and those who are most affected by these viruses by getting vaccinated.
