This Michigan Pizzeria Honored as One of Best in America

Everybody raves about how great pizza is in New York, Chicago, and New Jersey, but everyone in the Mitten State can easily agree one of the best styles of pizza comes from our state - Detroit Style.

And it's nice to see someone finally give us credit for having one of the best slices in the country. Food and Wine Magazine recently released their list of the best pizza places in America and one from Michigan made their delicious list.

Where is the best pizza in Michigan?

While they did acknowledge that both Dominos and Little Caesars call Michigan home, they're nowhere close to being the best our state has to offer.

According to the list of the best pizza by state released by Food and Wine, they say Michigan's best slice can be found at Michigan & Trumbull.

Opened in Ferndale with love by two Detroit natives, you can really get some incredible flavor packed into these inexpensive pies. (Some of them run as little as $10!)

They do offer a Detroit-style option, but they're known more for their standard pies than those thick slices that the Motor City is known for.

However, if you're not in the Detroit area, they say Buddy's Pizza offers another great slice in Michigan, and they can be found on the east side of the state, as well as on the other side of the state in the Grand Rapids area.
