Some people have absolutely no business walking the streets, much less being in a relationship.

A Detroit man is facing several charges after a brutal attack on his girlfriend was caught on video in a public setting. Fair warning, the video is really tough to watch.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, 30-year-old Orlando Thomas Jr. allegedly attacked the woman inside Potbelly on Woodward Avenue over the weekend. The video shows the victim on the ground while Thomas allegedly kicks her and throws a chair and a table at her as she screams.

This may be one of the most disturbing videos I've seen in a long time. No human being deserves to be treated like that.

Video Shows Violent Assault Inside Detroit Potbelly Restaurant

As disgusting as that footage is, investigators say the beating didn't start at the restaurant. Apparently, this guy had already assaulted the woman on a DDOT bus, hitting her so hard that one of the windows cracked.

Seriously, after watching that video, I hope prosecutors throw the book at this guy.

Woman Hospitalized After Alleged Attack Inside Detroit Potbelly

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Thankfully, she's expected to recover physically.

Between the video and witness accounts, prosecutors apparently had plenty to work with. Thomas is now charged with assault, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of property.

He's currently being held on a $100,000 cash bond.

I don't care what the argument was about. There is never an excuse for this kind of gross behavior. Watching a grown man beat up a woman in public while people stand there in shock is absolutely sickening.
