Michigan DoorDash Driver Arrested After Road Rage Attack on 75 Year Old Man
A simple request to slow down went sideways really fast.
It started as a simple request to slow down in a Wixom neighborhood. A 75-year-old man confronted a DoorDash driver who was allegedly speeding through his neighborhood. That's when things escalated big-time.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, the driver later admitted he felt threatened. Police say he punched the man. The man fell, hit his head on the pavement, and the driver drove away. Seriously, he just got back in his car and left the man lying in the road.

Not long after that, police were called to Barberry Circle near Windingway Drive after someone reported an elderly man lying unconscious in the road. When officers arrived, he wasn’t responding and needed immediate medical care.
That man, identified as Lloyd Poole, is now in intensive care and remains in serious condition.
Police say the driver, 40-year-old Ryan Turner, later showed up at the Wixom Police Department and admitted what happened. He was arrested, charged with aggravated assault, and taken to the Oakland County Jail.

All of this happened just because someone asked a driver to slow down.
It’s unclear what was actually said between the two, but honestly, it doesn’t matter. This never should have happened in the first place. People need to learn how to keep their cool in situations like this.
