Police Respond to Welfare Check at Star Auto Sales
Officers were called to Star Auto Sales on Ryan Road near Auburn just before 12:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found two men, a 48-year-old from Clinton Township and a 40-year-old from Shelby Township. Both men were deceased.
Victims Identified as Local Residents
The victims haven’t been publicly identified as of yet, but for those who live and work nearby, this tragedy has hit close to home. Workers in the area described a heavy police presence well into the afternoon, as investigators carefully pieced together what had happened inside the small dealership.

Shelby Township Police have confirmed the case is being investigated as a double homicide, though they haven’t released details about how the men died or whether any suspects have been identified. For now, officers are asking the public to avoid the area and to come forward with any information that might help shed light on what took place.
Community Shocked by Sudden Violence
Two lives lost in what should have been an ordinary Friday, two families now left searching for answers. In a town where people still greet each other by name, this kind of violence feels deeply personal.
