Jack Taylor had a record setting night Tuesday as he scored 138 points, leading Grinnell to a 179-104 win over Faith Baptist Bible.

Taylor made 27 of 71 3-point attempts, was 52 of 108 overall from the field and added seven free throws on 10 attempts in 36 minutes.

HE SHOT THE BALL 108 TIMES!  Just soak that in for a minute!

The 5-foot-10 sophomore guard broke the NCAA scoring record set by Rio Grande's Bevo Francis (113 points against Hillsdale in 1954). The previous Grinnell record was 89 by Griffin Lentsch last Nov. 19 against Principia.Taylor averaged 23.5 points in Grinnell's first two games this season.

Grinnell likes to shoot, and this wont be the last time that Taylor puts up big numbers, but there is no way that this record will ever be broken.
