Jaden Smith is following through on his pledge to help Flint fully recover from the Flint Water Crisis.

Smith launched his first Water Box in Flint back in March, with the promise of several more to help Flint residents. Saturday, Smith was in Flint with his nonprofit organization 501cTHREE delivering a second Water Box. The first Water Box went to First Trinity in Flint back in March.

The Water Box is part of the mission to reduce bottled water use in Flint. The bottled water solution has been a band aid since the start of the Flint Water Crisis, but the buildup of empty bottles is becoming its own problem.

The second Water Box was delivered to the Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village where it will help 7,000 families get safe drinking water.

According to NBC25, Jaden Smith and his nonprofit hope to have at least five more Water Boxes delivered to Flint by the end of the year.
