Kevin Hart has been dominating the comedy scene within the last few years and there really isn't a close second (besides Chapelle). With that comes a unrealistic spotlight that gets put over you and your every move is dissected.

Kevin got into some trouble a while back for twitting some homophobic words, for which he apologized.  But the good people at the Oscars decided to listen to internet trolls and asked him to apologize for something he already apologized for 10 years ago. So Kevin has made the decision to step down from hosting the Oscars and now is focused on promoting his new movie.
