Kid Cudi and Eminem Drop “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady”

Kid Cudi and Eminem teased a collaboration coming this week, and today they dropped "The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady."

The song was accompanied by a half lyric, half comic book animated video that Cudi put on YouTube this morning. Eminem and Dot Da Genius co-produced the track, and it definitely gives off vibes from when both artists were first getting started.

The heavy baseline and laggy sound of the melody definitely go back to a Man On The Moon sound.The only thing better than the song itself, is the story of how it came to be. A few months ago, Cudi tweeted at Eminem asking for help with a new song. I'm not that heavy in the music business, but I don't think that's how most of the power collabs like this get started. Obviously Eminem was down to work with Cudi, and today they released the product of that original tweet.

The reaction to the track has been huge online, and fans are already asking for a collaboration EP from Em and Cudi. Check out some of the reaction to the track on Twitter below.

I don't want to speak for everyone, but I am 100% down with these two working together on a joint EP. They have completely different styles, and nobody was sure what to expect when they announced the joint project, but it definitely works.

Hopefully this won't be the last time we hear them on the same track.
