Carman-Ainsworth High School graduate Dionte Savage of Oklahama University and Goodrich graduate Kyler Elsworth of Michigan State University overshine in first BCS Bowl Game starts.

Dionte Savage and Kyler Elsworth both had bittersweet paths to becoming winners of BCS Bowls. Tonight, Dionte Savage received his start due to starters being down and Kyler led the MSU defense after the suspension of defensive leader Max Bullough.

Blue chip athletes out of high school with proven talent and products of our area. Kyler helped make history for Michigan State University winning its first BCS bowl game since 1988 and first win with his fourth quarter leap over the offensive line to stop a fourth down with 2 minutes.
