Little Caesars Arena To Host Championship For BIG3 In August

The fourth season of BIG3 basketball, the league started by Ice Cube, will be this summer.  Detroit fans will get a chance to see the championship in August. 

According to M-Live, the professional 3 on 3 league will finish their season with the championship game to be played at Little Caesars Arena, August 29th.

BIG3 basketball has been in Detroit the past few years and has drawn big crowds.   The latest season is set to start on June 20th in Memphis.

The new season will have games played on Saturday.  Each week on the schedule will feature six games, entertainment, performances and clinics in that community.

The 12 teams are made up of many former NBA players.  The coaches feature names like Rick Mahorn, Gary Payton, Geroge Gervin and Rick Barry.
