Magic Johnson was in Saginaw this week to help raise money for the Promise Scholarship Program, but he talked a little bit about the Clippers and the ban handed to owner Donald Sterling.

Before Magic spoke to the crowd, the punishment was handed down to Donald Sterling by the NBA.

Magic did comment that he was happy about the NBA's punishment, and that this was a chance for all races to stand up for themselves.

Magic didn't comment on the rumors that he may be in the running to become the new owner of the Clippers.  Their have been many names mentioned as possible buyers including Floyd Mayweather JR. and Sean "Diddy" Combs.  According to Yahoo Sports though, Magic and his ownership group are the frontrunners.
