The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking to fill 70 different positions this summer.

If you are looking for some summer work and love the outdoors, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is taking applications now. They have 70 summer positions in the Wildlife Division that need to be filled. There are many different opportunities available from ground maintenance to surveys, habitat maintenance, animal control, and more.

These jobs are great for college students to retirees and come with different pay amounts and requirements, which include:

  • Non-Career Wildlife Assistants
    • $17.40 per hour
    • May work up to 719 hours per calendar year
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must be willing to work weekends and evening
    • Required to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Non-Career State Worker 4
    • Paid a minimum of $10.40 per hour
    • May work up to 1,040 hours per calendar year
    • Should be 18 and older
    • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
    • Required to pass a pre-employment drug test
