Michigan library card holders now have the chance to access hundreds of Michigan's recreational areas, historic sites, state parks, and campgrounds for free or at a discount!

Thanks to the Michigan Activity Pass Program,  Michiganders can now use their library card to explore some of the states best recreational parks and historic sites! The second year of the MAPP program offers fourth graders free access to hundreds of Michigan's great

The program stars May 24th, and library card holders can print a free one-day pass at their home or their local library. The pass can be used at any of the states 102 parks or 138 forest campgrounds. Also included this year is the 'National Park Service’s Every Kid in a Park initiative' which gives parents and teachers of fourth graders free passes to Michigan's lakeshores and national parks!
