Michigan Ranked In The Top 10 Worst States For Sunshine

It's no wonder everyone in Michigan is so grumpy.

Its a fact that Michiganders get screwed when it comes to sunshine. I mean just weather and seasons in general Michigan has to rank in the top 10 worst states. Although Summer is fantastic here in the mitten state (for the month of nice weather that we actually get to enjoy before Fall approaches) the rest of the year sucks.

I know I'm sounding like a Debby Downer right now, but so far in 2017 here is how cities rank when it comes to sunny days in Michigan...

Flint - Three Sunny Days So Far In 2017 

Detroit - Two Sunny Days So Far In 2017 

Gaylord - Two Sunny Days So Far In 2017 

Sault Sainte Marie - One Sunny Day So Far In 2017 

Traverse City - One Sunny Day So Far In 2017 

Grand Rapids  - ZERO Sunny Days So Far In 2017 

Not only has Grand Rapids had ZERO days of clear sunshine, it hasn't had a 100% clear day since November of 2016.

If that didn't make you want to leave Michigan and search for a more brighter state, Michigan actually comes in the top 10 at #6 for worst states to live in when it comes to total sunny days according to this article.

Needless to say if you need Vitamin D In your life, don't come to Michigan.
