Michigan Residents Warned Not To Eat Any Romaine Lettuce
Your next piece of Romaine Lettuce could be your last.
That might be a little too dramatic, but the FDA is advising everyone in Michigan to avoid eating any Romaine Lettuce for now.
There is another E. Coli outbreak related with the food that has already gotten nearly 40 people sick across the US and Canada. Michigan is one of the states where people have become sick after eating the lettuce. Luckily there have been no deaths reported with the outbreak.
The FDA has more about the warning here, but not enough information to issue a specific recall yet. If you have symptoms of an E. Coli infection you should go to the emergency room immediately.
Despite a separate recent E. Coli outbreak involving Romaine Lettuce, the deadliest vegetable related incident still involves Kevin Malone. Watch the tragic incident below, if you dare.
