A Michigan woman is being charged with arson after video shows her allegedly pouring gasoline into a sport utility vehicle and lighting it on fire only to have it blow up in her face.

We do not know the motivation behind the 26-year-old woman's actions, but we can only speculate that the black Jeep Grand Cherokee she torched probably belonged to an ex. Sydney Parham of Fraser is being held on a third-degree arson charge which is a felony.

The video was shot from across the parking lot of the San Remo apartment complex in Harrison Township, east of Sterling Heights last week. Parham is seen pouring what looks to be gasoline from a plastic can into the backseat of the vehicle, then reaching in to ignite the blaze. The force of the initial blast knocked Parham onto the pavement next to the car.

After the video was uploaded to YouTube, the Macomb County Sheriff's Department confirmed to WJBK that the video was of Parham, who had been arrested earlier.

The second video below shows the aftermath of the fire, which completely destroyed the vehicle.
