The bottled water that is intended to help Flint residents deal with the Flint Water Crisis may be going to the wrong people according to the Michigan State Police.

A State Police official said that there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that the water is being given out to non Flint residents.

There are no hard facts to back up the suspicion, but there is some evidence that makes sense.  The fact that more water is being given out than any time during the distribution history is just one factor.

One of the easiest solutions is that people show ID every time they pick up water, or register for pick up when they go so their name is stored in a database.

Mayor Karen Weaver is supposed to talk about the problem and possible solutions today at 11am.  We will keep you updated as she lays out her plan.

What would you like to hear Weaver say about the issue?
