Despite having the GOP debate in Michigan last night, there were only a few minutes dedicated to local issues, including the Flint Water Crisis.

Protesters outside of the Fox Theater in Detroit were calling for many things, but the Flint presence was definitely felt.

If the crowd gathered outside hoped that their voices would make the Republican candidates talk about Michigan more, they were definitely disappointed.

In the two hour debate, maybe 10 minutes of the discussion involved anything concerning Michigan.

The tone at the Democratic debate will undoubtedly be different this Sunday.  The debate is happening in Flint, and both candidates have spent a good amount of time in Flint leading up to the debate.
