It's been a long time since the Pistons glory days, but that's not stopping Rip Hamilton from eyeing a return to the NBA.

Richard Hamilton is almost 40 years old, but there have been a number of former superstars that have come back to contribute at 40.

Rip talked to CBS Sports about his potential comeback saying,

I’m working on my game. I’m in the weight room. I’m running my two, three miles a day. And I’m trying to see if my body can hold up. If my body can hold up after these thirty days, I will be making a comeback.”

With the softness that has taken over the NBA, along with a huge salary cap, it makes sense for a sharp shooter like Rip to come back.  In fact, he isn't the only AARP member looking to run in the league.  Ray Allen has also announced his intentions to look at coming back.

Do you think Rip could come back and help a championship contender get their ring?
