Saginaw Teen Arrested for Sending School Threat via Social Media

A Saginaw teen has been arrested and taken into custody after sending a school threat via social media over the weekend.

The 16 year old boy sent a bomb and shooting threat aimed at the Saginaw District Schools according to ABC12.

The Saginaw Police department praised the school district for their cooperation in a written statement.

"We appreciate the fast and steady cooperation of the Saginaw School District as well as all of the concerned citizens that alerted authorities. We want to make sure that people understand that if you make these type of threats, we will take appropriate action to make sure you can't threaten anyone else."

I hope teens learn from this unfortunate situation. I believe this kid was acting out to get some attention. If they find creditable evidence he was able to carryout the threat, then we have another issue on our hands.
