Terrance Lavaron Thomas stabbed two men at a Southfield bus stop after asking them if they were Muslims, and is now facing charges.

Thomas apparently walked up to the men and asked if they were Muslims.  When they said no, Thomas started arguing with them, and eventually pulled out his knife and stabbed them.

Thomas stabbed one of the men several times, and cut the other mans hand during the struggle.  Both men are expected to fully recover from any injuries they received.

The FBI is investigating if this should be treated as a hate crime, but clickondetroit is suggesting that Thomas may suffer from mental illness.

With all of the violence being carried out in the name of religion around the world today, it's getting pretty scary.  If a stranger decided to strike up a religious debate with you, would you respond or just ignore them due to the violence?
