The Flint & Genesee County Chamber of Commerce have a way that you can get rewarded for helping to Spread The Cheer this season.

Obviously it's almost Christmas season, so spreading the cheer should come naturally right? Well this time, spreading the cheer also involves helping local businesses survive the latest pandemic shut down. The Chamber has put together a very cool contest to help push shopping locally, along with a $500 gift card prize to one lucky winner.

We all know how hard the first shut down was for local businesses in Genesee County, so everyone is a little panicked as we head into the second wave of restrictions. The chamber has created a way for you to help out your favorite local businesses, and get a little kickback for yourself, all without breaking your own budget.

It's actually pretty simple to do, just follow the simple steps.

1. Click HERE to give your information and list your favorite locally owned small business.
2. Starting next week (11/23) one of the businesses named will receive a $1,000 gift, and the person that named the business will get $500!
3. That process will repeat for five weeks.
