Emails have just been released showing that while Michigan officials were telling Flint residents that the water was safe to drink, they were having bottled water provided for state employees in Flint.

Progress Michigan posted the email that talks about the need for bottled water for state employees in Flint.  Part of the email from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget reads:

While the City of Flint states that corrective actions are not necessary, DTMB is in the process of providing a water cooler on each occupied floor, positioned near the water fountain, so you can choose which water to drink.

The state has said that the water coolers were provided after a report of high trihalomethanes in Flint water, and nothing to do with lead levels.

Obviously, not everyone is buying their story.

This doesnt look good for Governor Snyder or any state officials that are trying to repair the Flint Water Crisis along with their reputation.
