Dear Taco Bell, way to kick us when we're down.

As if 2020 hasn't thrown enough punches this year, Taco been just dealt another blow that's going to hit us where it hurts...our stomachs.

For the second time in less than 3 months, Taco Bell is making some eliminations to their menu. The move is all part of a new overhauled selection for the fast food chain.

Starting on November 5th, fans will be saying goodbye to Mexican Pizza, Pico de Gallo, and Shredded Chicken. According to their website, the big adios is to make room for new items on the menu. Taco Bell is also making the change to a more streamlined menu for a "faster and more seamless restaurant experience than ever before".

“We’re constantly evaluating ways to provide a more efficient restaurant experience, and have already begun to see progress from streamlining our menu,” said Mike Grams, Taco Bell President, Global COO. “While we know fans may be understandably sad to see some of their favorites go, this evolution of our menu truly paves the way for fresh new ideas. The creativity and innovation in our kitchen hasn’t slowed down at all, and we look forward to rolling out new fan favorites.”

If it helps make the loss of Mexican Pizza easier to handle, but I'm sure it won't, Taco Bell announced a few new items they will be adding. The Chicken Chipotle Melt & Dragonfruit Freeze will be debuting nationally this fall, with the return of the Green Sauce launched regionally.

In case you are worried about what's next, Taco Bell assured customers in their statement that this is the final phase of our 2020 menu revamp. Thank God.
